David Schlachet has recently teamed up with life-long friend Lesly Bernard at Bernard Design Build.

Schlachet brings over 25 years’ experience as a sought-after licensed general contractor, construction management professional and consultant in all aspects of the building process.

He was a Founder & Managing Partner of Taocon, Inc. a highly successful and profitable full-service construction firm in the city. 

 

Schlachet grew the firm to over $35MM in annual revenue with 60-80 full time employees. Taocon successfully completed over $300MM+ in complex high-design residential and commercial projects.

 

Schlachet has worked with top architects and interior designers, developers and property owners on some of New York’s most prestigious and notable properties with over 50 projects featured in a wide range of top National architecture and design publications.

Schlachet’s client list included high net worth individuals and notable personalities such as Anderson Cooper, Paul Allen, Christy Turlington & Ed Burns and Susan Sarandon & Tim Robbins, Patrick McMullan and Richard Avedon.
